And of course you'll want to experience the city's fantastic bars and restaurants.
One of Alaska's most dramatic spots is easy to reach by train or motorcoach. Enjoy the ride as you travel to the seaside town of Seward. There, you can take a half or full-day cruise into the jaw-droppingly beautiful Kenai Fjords National Park and get an up-close view of massive blue glaciers and keep an eye out for whales, sea otters, harbor seals, sea lions, and puffins. Travel back to Anchorage this evening.
Take advantage of your final day in Anchorage to see anything you missed the first day. You have lots of fun options for a city tour. One is to take a trolly around to all the hot spots.
