Homer National Park Tours
Due to its proximity to the Alaska Peninsula, Homer makes for an ideal launching point for excursions in both Katmai and Lake Clark National Parks. From Homer, you can take a short (but very scenic) flight over Cook Inlet, and land in these remote National Parks. What's the draw? The bears! Both areas are known for their high concentrations of brown bears. You'll land in areas where they're known to gather and get to watch them in their natural environment. You might land on a beach and watch them digging for clams. Or, head to a world-famous hot spot like Brooks Falls, where you'll watch them swat at salmon making their way upstream.
