Yellow Marsh-Marigold

Marsh Marigold is a water plant that grows in marshes, ditches or muddy places along streambanks, ponds and bogs. Leaves are 2-4" and are roundish, rubbery and finely toothed on the edges. The yellow flowers are 1-1.5" and have 5-7 rounded sepals.
