view from the Bluff Cabin looking over Kachemak Bay

All cabins feature large front windows that look out over Kachemak Bay

Stay in one of the 4 unique, modern, and cozy cabins that make up this intimate resort, all of which marry a luxurious aesthetic with dramatic Alaskan views. And while the location feels pleasantly tucked away, you’ll be just 5 minutes from downtown Homer.

All of the cabins serve up stunning views of Kachemak Bay’s shimmering waters and the craggy peaks of the Kenai Mountains. Soak in the scenery from your cabin’s large front windows or while sitting out on the deck.

Much of the cabins’ sidings are made from trees milled from the property. Inside, you’ll find luxurious touches like Jotul gas fireplaces, which create a cozy feel; outdoors, there are also fire pits or Solo stoves. Each cabin includes a full—and fully stocked— kitchen, including dishware and some basics, along with locally made honey and locally roasted coffee. Plus, onsite BBQs will help you prepare gourmet meals. Or head into town to explore the great restaurants in Homer.

WestWind Cabins also features a Nordic-style cedar and spruce spa, set in its own building with a large deck and 6-person outdoor hot tub. Inside, you’ll find a wood-fired sauna, shower and changing room, and cold plunge tub. Reserve times for your group during the day and have the spa to yourselves or enjoy it in the evening with the other guests
