About Salted Roots
Salted Roots is a locally owned, family-run hospitality group operating two distinctive properties: Salted Roots Basecamp in Anchorage and its flagship oceanfront camp featuring cabins and suites in Seward. Founded by adventurers who once worked seasonal jobs across Alaska and even road-tripped from Alaska to Nicaragua and back, the team brings a deep love of travel, community, and connection to each property—creating experiences that are both unique and uniquely Alaskan.
