The Trout/Pike/Lodge/Day Float package is one of the most popular trip specials offered by Wilderness Place Lodge. This one-of-a-kind adventure is all-inclusive from Anchorage. It bundles many incredible experiences including southcentral Alaska's finest wade fishing for native rainbow trout and grayling, superb top-water fishing for northern pike in a nearby lake chain, all the spoils of a deluxe wilderness lodge, fine cuisine, fireside shore lunches, and a fly-out 5-mile raft trip with fishing!

All fishing gear is included and your personal guides offer top-notch instruction. This package is perfectly suited to couples, families, and small groups seeking a nature-based adventure off-the-grid, with the finest accommodations and service. Wilderness Place Lodge is a highly reviewed all-inclusive fishing lodge with deluxe private cabins with baths, a gorgeous log lodge, and a courteous staff of 18 that hosts an average number of 15 guests.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Fly from Anchorage to Wilderness Place Lodge

Depart Anchorage by float plane to Wilderness Place Lodge and arrive in time for lunch prepared by the lodge's chef team.

Spend the afternoon fishing on the river with your personal guide targeting trout, grayling, pike or salmon depending upon regulations and availability.

Enjoy a 4-course dinner in the lodge provided by the professional chef team inclusive of local beer and wine. Overnight in one of Wilderness Place Lodge's modern deluxe riverside cabins.

Day 2 - Fish!

Enjoy a flexible day of fishing at Wilderness Place Lodge to plan as you please with your guide.

Day 3 - Spend Another Day on the Water

Enjoy another day of fishing at Wilderness Place Lodge to plan as you please with your guide.

Day 4 - Explore the Pioneer Outpost Cabin & Float Trip

Start the morning off with guided fishing near the lodge. Depart the lodge at 11:00 am for the Pioneer Outpost Cabin for a unique wilderness experience. Food and beverages will be pre-planned and packed for your shore lunch by the lake. Early afternoon depart by raft with your guides for a 6-mile river float with many stops for fishing enroute back to Wilderness Place Lodge. Arrive at the lodge prior to the evening dinner service.

Day 5 - Return to Anchorage

Breakfast in the lodge. Early AM optional fishing. Depart the lodge by float for Anchorage approx. 12 noon with arrival back into Anchorage by 1 pm.
