Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Fly from Anchorage to Wilderness Place Lodge by Floatplane

Depart Anchorage for Wilderness Place Lodge. Arrive in time for noon lunch prepared by the lodges chef team. Spend the afternoon fishing on the river with your personal guide. Enjoy a 4-course dinner in the lodge inclusive of local beer and wine. Overnight in one of Wilderness Places Lodge's deluxe riverside cabins.

Day 2 - Overnight at Wilderness Place Lodge

A full flexible day of fishing, hiking, and adventuring on the river or nearby lake chain. Option of breakfast/Lunch in the Lodge or on the river. 6:30 pm 4-course dinner in the main lodge. Overnight in your private cabin.

Day 3 - Overnight at Wilderness Place Lodge

Breakfast and guided morning fishing on the river near the lodge. Return to the lodge in time for your 11am float plane flight to the Pioneer Cabin Outpost. Enjoy lunch at the lake, followed by an afternoon 6-mile float/fishing trip back down to the main lodge. Arrive prior to 6:30pm dinner service. Overnight in your deluxe cabin at the main lodge.

Day 4 - Glamping at Solitude Island Retreat

Optional AM fishing. Depart at 11:30am for Solitude Island Retreat, a unique private cabin on a 4 acre island on a beautiful lake with mountain. Enjoy this amazing DIY experience, unplug, kayak, relax, and soak in the peace and quiet. Dinner/beverages are catered and packed for you upon departure from Wilderness Place Lodge. Overnight in the cabin.

Day 5 - Glacier Landing & Guided Dogsledding

Depart Solitude Island Retreat late morning with a return to Anchorage at approximately 12:30 pm. Upon arrival to Anchorage, shuttle to the Alaska Glacier Lodge, a scenic hour’s drive North of Anchorage. Enjoy a 2 hour helicopter/glacier experience with 3 landings and ice exploration with a ton of photo ops! Evening shuttle back to Anchorage with complimentary overnight at the upscale boutique WildBirch Hotel with dinner & breakfast.

Day 6 - Check out of Anchorage Hotel

Check-out from your hotel. This concludes your tour.
