Stunning, panoramic views and a hospitable staff make Ocean Shores the perfect place to set up camp in Homer.
Set on a terraced site overlooking gorgeous Kachemak Bay and the glaciers of the Harding Icefield, Ocean Shores offers amazing views from all of its sites—plus, it’s warmer here than on the Homer Spit, since it’s not as windy. There are 85 full and partial hook-ups, which have 50- or 30-amp power, as well as 8 tent sites. Most sites come with a picnic table, and there are three shared fire rings, as well as a main fire ring overlooking the bay. You’ll also find cable TV and Wi-Fi, as well as coin-operated showers and laundry.
You’ll find even more amazing views when you walk the short trail down to the private beach, which also belongs to the park. Plus, you can enjoy the Kannery Grill—the park’s on-site restaurant and bar. And you’ll be within walking distance of a supermarket as well as shops and Homer’s famous art galleries.
