Access the start of the trail near Ebner Falls on Perseverance Trail. This is a very dangerous mountain that many have lost their lives on, so stay on the trail and don't attempt to climb a different path. After getting through the brush, the path opens to spectacular views of the City of Juneau. The trail is very steep from this point to the summit. When the weather is good, some people walk over toward Granite Basin on the ridge. There are marmot, spruce grouse and black bears seen here often.
