This fall photography trip offers some of the best photo opportunities in Alaska as the seasons change. Head to Lake Clark National Park for grizzly bears, turquoise-colored lakes, snowcapped mountains and the bright gold colors of fall. You'll also spend a half day photographing moose, and a helicopter flight to an iceberg-filled glacial lake only accessible by air. Fall can also be a wonderful time to photograph the aurora borealis, weather permitting.
This is not just a "tour" but a photo workshop. While in the field and in the several classroom instruction sessions, Jeff will teach you methods he’s learned in his 30+ years as a professional photographer to help you take your landscape and wildlife photography to the next level.

After an early breakfast at the B&B, drive 20 minutes and take off in helicopters for a 15-minute flight directly over a 16-mile (25 km) glacier and on to the ice-berg choked shores of a glacier formed lake with the snow-capped Chugach mountains as a background. If conditions permit, the doors of the helicopter will be off for the flight in for better aerial images. After landing, the helicopters will depart and you'll have the area to ourselves for 5 hours of Glacier, lake and iceberg landscape and fall color photography. Enjoy a picnic lunch before you're picked up in the early afternoon. Return to Anchorage for dinner with a photo viewing session of participant’s images.
