Gorge Creek Trail

From the Eielson Visitor Center, you can hike down to the Gorge Creek and Thorofare River Bars. To the end of the maintained trail and back is about 2 miles, and takes the average hiker about 90 minutes. Beyond the end of the trail, you can continue off-trail and reach backcountry camping units within the park. Note that a creek crossing may be required if you continue off-trail.
