Clam Gulch State Recreation Area

Many thousands of clams are dug up each year at Clam Gulch. This is some of the best razor clam digging during minus tides. Head down to the beach and watch the action or, if you have a sport fishing license, join in. The limit is first 60 clams taken. After clam digging take a rest, the recreation area provides picnic sites, shelters, campsites, water and toilets. There are excellent views of Aleutian Range across inlet.
