View from the lodge property looking out over Cook Inlet
Set on the Kenai Peninsula, just 30 minutes south of Soldotna, the intimate Clam Gulch Lodge sits on a bluff overlooking Cook Inlet and the volcanoes beyond. Owners Gary and Pam, who live onsite and treat guests like family, will work closely with you to create a perfect combination of lodging and adventure.
Activities of the Kenai Peninsula
The surrounding waters boast world-class fishing, from freshwater angling to deep sea charters, and are perfect for beginners as well as the seasoned angler. If fishing is not your thing, choose a package that includes activities like kayaking, glacier tours, and visiting a sled dog kennel.
Main Lodge & Eagle’s Nest
Accommodations are ideal for groups of up to 16, as well as couples. The main lodge offers 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms for up to 12 guests and includes a large back porch facing the water, fire pit area, and horseshoes. If you have a smaller group, stay in the Eagle’s Nest, a quiet cabin in the woods for up to 4 people, with one king bed and a full sized bed in the sleeping loft, a fully furnished kitchen, private bath, and a covered deck with BBQ grill.
Hot, Homemade Breakfast
Each morning, you’ll enjoy a full, hot breakfast, with delicious dishes like sourdough pancakes, reindeer sausage gravy and biscuits, bacon, eggs, and salmon hash, along with coffee, tea, juice, and baked goods. For lunch and dinner, prepare your own meals in the lodge’s kitchen or explore local restaurants.
There’s a 3-night minimum stay, but guests stay an average of 5-10 days—it’s the perfect basecamp to explore the Kenai Peninsula.
