Get a taste of Alaska as you explore Fairbanks on this 3.5-hour brewery tour that lets you sample the city’s exciting craft beer scene. It’s a great way to get local insights from expert guides and sip some amazing Alaskan beers—without worrying about transportation. And if you’re coming with a group, ask about private tours!

Visit 3 Breweries

On this van tour, you’ll be picked up from your hotel or AirBnb, and visit 3 different breweries with 8-14 guests. You’ll spend 45 minutes to an hour at each, which includes a drink or a flight, with the option to purchase more. Along the way, guides will fill you in on local history, along with stories about the breweries you’ll be visiting.

Your first stop is Lat. 65 Brewing Company—a former athletic club turned brewery and cidery offering a variety of delicious beers and ciders, with on-site food trucks for the hungry.

Then you’ll head over to Silver Gulch, America’s northernmost (and Alaska’s third-oldest) brewery, founded in 1998, with a dozen or so beers on rotation. You’ll hear how the brewery was built on top of a 100-year-old building and get a mini tour of the brewery, which also features a full restaurant.

Next up is HooDoo Brewing Company, where you’ll find classic German, Belgian, English, and American styles of beer on tap, like Kolsch and IPA, plus seasonal beers and on-site food trucks.

Final Stop

Then choose to get dropped off at your hotel or at Humble Roots Beer Project in downtown Fairbanks. This modern brewery serves up hop-forward beers, fruited sours, and confection-inspired stouts right by the river—it’s the perfect way to end a fun day.
