Internet service in Nome is slow, so the only “streaming” you can expect is the view out your taxi or rental car window as you travel through town. Good thing there’s plenty to see, including musk ox, dog mushers, old dredges, tundra landscapes and the wide expanse of Bering Sea.

If do you need Internet access, you can check your email at different sites around town, including:

  • Nome Public Library in the Richard Foster Building (7th and Steadman)
  • University of Fairbanks Northwest Campus (400 East Front Street)
  • TurboZone near the GCI building (110 Front Street)
  • For patrons: various restaurants and hotels around town.
