the Orange-crowned Warbler is actually much closer to a light olive color with perhaps a hint of red and orange. Overall it's one of the more drab of the Warbler family but is still a joy to spot. They are a hardy breed, not heading south from their boreal forest nesting grounds in the north until late September or October.
