Oldsquaw

Also knows as the Long-tailed Duck, the Oldsquaw is an outgoing duck that frequents both fresh and seawater. Their colors change substantially from season to season so the most characteristic marking is a cheek patch that is always present. They are one of the deepest diving ducks being able to reach depths of 200 ft or more and spend more time under water than they do above.
