- Term: Entries are open until September 30, 2023. By submitting a photo, you agree to the rules.
- Eligibility. Open to U.S residents 18 years old or older.
- What to Submit. Photos of your time in Alaska. You must have the rights to each photo you enter and the consent of anyone who appears in a photograph. You may submit up to 10 photos.
- How to Submit. Submit your entries at www.alaska.org/photo-contest in a .jpg or .jpeg format, one at a time.
- High Resolution Photos. Submit your full size, hi-res photos (at least 1800 pixels wide).
- Photo Rights. You retain full copyright to your photographs. By entering, you grant Alaska.org non-exclusive, royalty-free rights to publicly display, reproduce, and create derivative works of your entry online or in print products for the purpose of promoting this contest, future contests, and travel to and within Alaska for an unlimited period of time. Where feasible, any photograph reproduced will include a photographer’s credit. Alaska.org will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with the uses described above.
- Winner Selection. Alaska.org will select 5 winners to receive a 20” x 30” Metal Print of their winning photo from Bay Photo. Alaska.org will notify winners via the contact information provided at the time of entry; Alaska.org may disqualify anyone who fails to respond to the notification within fourteen business days. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. No purchase necessary. Alaska.org reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion.
