This tour, about a half hour in total, begins inside a quirky historic cabin, the Olde Tyme Saloon, where the ceiling—covered in elaborate folk-art murals—has been described as the “Sistine Chapel of Alaska.” Then head outside to meet, feed, and pet the majestic reindeer as you learn about their behavior, antlers, herd dynamics, and why they’re so well-suited to Alaska’s climate.

Winter S’mores Experience

The only thing better than meeting reindeer is doing it while enjoying s’mores! On this wintertime evening tour, you’ll sit near a warm fire and toast marshmallows for s’mores as you spend time with these fascinating creatures. It may also be a chance to see the northern lights.
