Easy access to the town of Seward and a fabulous fishing location – The Seward Military Resort is available for our military community and their sponsored family members or friends. Set just inside the city of Seward, we offer great rates for active duty, retired military, service connected disabled veterans, and DoD Civilians. Our Tickets and Tours department is open year round and has discounted prices on a variety of Alaskan tours and activities.
On site facilities available from Memorial Day to Labor Day include, the fish house, freezers, freedom fighters grill, and any of our outdoor spaces. Fishing is made easy by use of our fish-cleaning stations, vacuum sealing equipment, and freezers. Overnight shipping for your catch is available and convenience. Our FEDEX prices are heavily discounted and available for personal shipping as well. On-site coin operated laundry facilities are available to assist with your laundry needs. Breakfast and Lunch service is conveniently served 5 days a week at our Freedom Fighters Grill.
Choose from the following style accommodations.
- The Harbor Suite: Offering panoramic views of the bay and mountains, this 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment will sleep up to 7 guests. A king bed, a queen bed and a bunk set with full on bottom & twin on top is available in this unit, along with a fully equipped kitchen, a full size range, and internal washer and dryer.
- Two-story Townhouses: These duplexes accommodate 4-6 people via a private bedroom with one double bed, an open loft area with two single beds and a double sofa bed in the common area. The kitchenettes have a two-burner stove top, a microwave oven, a small refrigerator, coffee pot, and basic dishes and utensils.
- Cabin: Perfect for couples, the cabin has a queen bed. Enjoy your day sitting on the porch swing and/or grilling your catch on your personal grill. A kitchenette includes a fridge with freezer, a two burner stove top, large microwave, coffee pot, and all necessary utensils to assist with preparing your meals.
- Motel-Style Rooms: With two double size beds these rooms can accommodate up to 4 people. Each room also has a microwave, coffee maker and a small refrigerator. Handicap units are available with one double bed and one twin mattress cot.
- Family Yurts: More comfortable outdoor accommodations are available for 6 people with offering two full size beds (Bottom)/twins (top) bunk beds, in our family yurts. These outdoor framed units sit on a wood platform and have windows and locking double doors. Linen is included and there is one power outlet inside. Free access to our bath house is also included and our coin operated laundry facility is located inside the bath house building. A private fireplace & picnic table is located just outside the yurt.
- Yurts: Smaller framed structure that are set up with cots for 3 guests, one standard cot and one bunk style cot. You must provide all your own linen, similar to tent camping. Free bath house access is also included. Coin operated laundry facility is available inside the bathhouse building. A private fireplace & picnic table is located just outside the yurt.
- RV Sites: Amenities at the RV sites include, water, electric and cable TV hook-ups. A Dump site is accessible at the resort. RVer’s can also enjoy free bathhouse use. Coin operated laundry facilities are inside the bathhouse.
- Campground: Amenities at the tent sites include a fire ring and picnic table. A dish cleaning site is accessible close by. Campers can also enjoy free bathhouse use. Coin operated laundry facilities are inside the bathhouse.
