Norton Sound Seafood House

Norton Sound Seafood House serves up seafood from the deep, pristine ocean waters off of Nome, Alaska. Norton Sound Seafood House is your last chance before boarding for Alaskan salmon, halibut, or king crab, fresh in season. It opened in October of 2010 as a high profile concept developed by HMS Host with contributions to the menu from Alaska’s celebrity chef Al Levinson. It’s located past security with a comfortable and contemporary atmosphere and is a great place to enjoy some Alaskan fare before your flight. Halibut and salmon can be ordered blackened or grilled. They serve up one pound of king crab legs, and their halibut fish and chips are perfect. Lightly battered and fried, it’s the most popular item on the menu. All the dishes highlight the flavors of the seafood, with seasonings and sides adding to, rather than overpowering, the tastes of wild Alaska. The Crab Louie is an excellent salad, and the Oreo cheesecake and red velvet cake are excellent desserts.
