Don’t miss this ultimate collection of Alaska-made goodies of all types from some 80 vendors—all in one place! This unique market is located in Wasilla, about 60 miles north of Anchorage, and you’ll find creations of Alaskan artists and chefs that make for perfect souvenirs or gifts for friends back home. Delight your palette with jams and jellies, spices and rubs, locally roasted coffees, local honey, and sweet treats. Pick up birch baskets, all kinds of woodwork items, jewelry, metal and glass art, and locally made soaps. There’s also a great selection of clothing, like hoodies, hats, and t-shirts—all by local designers—and even some fur and leather goods.

In other words, there’s something for everyone. And they can even ship stuff home, so you don’t have to overstuff your suitcase!

The market was the vision of owners Rex and Judy. Judy makes more than 40 delicious varieties of homemade jellies, like fireweed, blueberry, raspberry, lingonberry, and rosehip. As her business grew, she moved into a commercial kitchen. But the space was too big for one person, so she recruited Alaskans who make all kinds of amazing things to join her. Now, Meadow Lakes Market is a must-stop store with lots of great gifts!
