On these intimate fishing tours—with a maximum of 13 anglers on board—you’ll be dropping your line into pristine waters for halibut and multiple other species (except on Wednesdays, when you’ll be dropping for Salmon, Rockfish, and pacific cod). Top-of-the-line equipment and expert instruction give you the best chance of landing the fish of your dreams.

Leaving early in the morning, the 10- to 12-hour expeditions typically head to the Gulf of Alaska, and your captain will suss out secret spots so you’re not competing with other boats. And because these are combo fishing charters, you’ll move around in order to target different species of salmon or other fish.

You’ll be aboard the 46-foot x 16 F/V Sound Crazy, which features a spacious, heated cabin, bathroom, and powerful engines to get you out to the fishing grounds as quickly as possible.

The mastermind behind these unforgettable journeys is Captain Crazy Ray. Born and raised in the 49th state, Ray has been fishing Alaska’s offshore waters since the age of five. At a very young age he dreamed of owning and operating a charter fishing service, then made that dream a reality in 2012.
