Petersburg was founded in the late 1800s by Peter Buschmann, a fisherman and cannery owner, so it’s fitting to honor the thousands of works who’ve passed through town over the years, cleaning and packing seafood. Interior panels of this open-air structure feature maps, artwork and photos of cannery workers through the years. There’s also a map of operating canneries, a narrative about historic ones and a display of colorful packing labels. Located on North Nordic Drive near the Trading Union.
