The Bridgekeeper’s Inn is located 16 miles across the bay from Homer, on the south shore of Kachemak Bay in the city of Seldovia. It is a welcoming B&B boasting modern facilities blended with the simplicity and of the remote Alaskan lifestyle.

With Main Street and the Seldovia Harbor a mere 5 minute walk away, the location of this B&B couldn’t be more convenient. The Bridgekeeper’s Inn overlooks the Seldovia Slough Bridge, a hotspot for king salmon fishing in the summer months. Hosts Kevin and Valerie keep a record of when the first King Salmon is caught from the bridge each year – that record could be yours! If you don’t wish to join in the action, both rooms have views overlooking the slough allowing you to enjoy the show in the comfort of your room.

There are two rooms here, each well-appointed with a queen size bed, futon that folds down into a double, and private bathrooms. Guests also have use of the common downstairs living and dining areas.

In the morning, enjoy a full sit down breakfast each morning, or request room service. Later in the day the kitchen is available for lunch or dinner if you wish to prepare your own meals. Ask the hosts about area activities, as they are happy to make suggestions and assist in booking tours.
