Albino Beaver

This specimen, although no conclusive tests were performed, is probably a true albino. No coloration was present on any part of the animal. The dark area near the base of the tail has stains on the end of the hairs; the hair is colorless underneath. It is not possible to calculate the exact occurrence of albinoism in beavers, however it is likely to occur about once in each million beavers.

Location: Adjacent to the South Terminal baggage claim 2.
