Denali National Park, AK 99755
Located seven miles from the park entrance, The Lodge at Denali Park Village Lodge gets you far enough from the hustle and bustle so that you can focus on the quiet sounds of nature—like the nearly addictive sound of a river rushing by. Set among 20 acres of a spruce forest along the Nenana River, the lodge offers rooms spread out among seven two-story buildings.
While it makes for an ideal base camp for all your Denali adventures, it is also a great starting point for activities right outside your door. There are interpretive trails on property, the Triple Lakes and Oxbow trails originate nearby, and several raft journeys launch from the lodge. This is the place to get back to nature while enjoying the luxuries of the lodge. You can watch rafts float down the Nenana River from the outdoor seating decks, enjoy an evening drink by the outdoor fire pit, enjoy a hot beverage by the fireplace or peruse the gift shops.
There are shuttles to the Wilderness Access Center and Denali Visitors Center, and you have easy access to the free lectures or art shows at the nearby Denali Foundation.
By Car: The lodge is located at mile post 231.1 of the Parks Highway; this is 20 miles north of Cantwell, and approximately 7 miles south of the Denali Park Road.
By Train: Take the train from either Anchorage (8 hrs) or Fairbanks (4 hrs). Train station is located at Mile 1.25 Denali National Park Rd. Pre-arrange a transfer with hotel.
