Look for the rails as the highway crosses over the White Pass and Yukon Route at Log Cabin. This is also the exit point for the Chilkoot Trail, a 33-mile trek up the Chilkoot Pass. During the Gold Rush, this was a major access route from the coast to the Yukon gold fields. This is a National Historic Landmark and is part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park.
