If you’re driving the Richardson Highway south from Fairbanks, it’s hard to miss this unique gift shop. Its ample parking lot sits next to a grassy area that features carved wooden statues: a bear, a moose, and a larger-than-life mosquito.
Inside, you’ll find handmade wooden souvenirs, carved-wood statues, clocks, bowls, and other creations. The majority of the wood bowls are made from local birch, which has a nice light color.
