Tours include gear, bait and as much instruction as you need (especially with those feisty halibut, which are nicknamed barn doors for their huge size). They'll even do your filleting afterward, and can help arrange to have your catches shipped home.
Aurora has fast and comfortable vessels in their fleet, and charters go out into Resurrection Bay, Kenai Fjords National Park or Prince William Sound. Peak season is June, July and August. You'll go into Resurrection Bay and most likely target silver salmon. Departs at 7 am and 1 pm. Last about 5 hours.
Full day tours
You'll likely be fishing for halibut, salmon and rockfish in Resurrection Bay and the Gulf of Alaska coastal waters. On many of our full-day trips we will last about 8 to 10 hours.
