The municipality of Skagway saved its old school gymnasium from the wrecking ball and transformed it into a spot offering all types of recreation - including ping-pong. It features exercise bikes and treadmills, a climbing wall, an outdoor skate park, as well as weights and cardio equipment. Classes include different styles of yoga, spinning, Pilates, weights and Zumba. In addition, the center provides information on local hiking trails and handles reservations for the public use cabin at Upper Dewey Lake. Open daily. Public showers available.
