Nome - Rubber Duck Race

The Nome Rubber Duck Race is a popular and engaging fundraiser organized by the Rotary Club each Labor Day. Buy a ticket for $5, and your duck drifts down the Snake River with hundreds of others. The first three to cross the finish line win cash prizes up to $1,500. Another lucky winner is the “Wild Duck,” drawn at random from the bunch and worth $250.

Watch the fun from the banks of the Snake River, beginning at Bering Air and ending at the Postal Annex.

You don’t have to be present in Nome to win – or even to buy a ticket. Get in touch with the Nome Rotary Club for details.
