Five days of festivities peppered with traditional and quirky tournaments, games, races and competitions. The festival is held Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, ending on Memorial Day. Locally, the festival symbolizes the end of winter and the highly anticipated return of summer, bringing with it long days, the salmon runs and lots of fun.

  • The Norm Holm Survival Suit Race begins with a race down the dock to put on survival suits then swimming through the harbor into a life raft.
  • Coast Guard demonstrations in the harbor include helicopters and rescue swimmers.

  • Marathon & Half Marathon
  • Blessing of the Fleet: The traditional blessing of the fleet is open to all vessels. A service is sung followed by an Orthodox priest sprinkling each passing vessel with Holy Water.
  • Crab Fest Parade on Saturday morning features old cars, military, 4H, school bands and Harleys.
