This cabin is a real treat! If you spend the night here you are staying in what was the original Park Ranger Headquarters for Kachemak Bay State Park. The cabin comes with a great view of the lagoon and surrounding mountains, a fire ring, wood stove, latrines close by and some simple cabin tools to help get you by on your stay. The cabin can sleep four comfortably. During the height of the summer, water is close by. Bring your binoculars to view black bears grubbing on the hillside directly in front of the deck. Look early in the morning or at night for your chances of catching them roaming the hillside. This cabin has great access to trails, safe kayaking and King salmon fishing in June.
