Take control of your own ATV with Denali ATV Adventures, and head deep into the Alaskan bush! It’s hard to beat the thrill of splashing through rivers, driving over tree root-rutted trails, and four-wheeling up to some of the area’s most spectacular vistas. With regular, one-person ATVs, as well as 2-6 person, side-by-side ATVs, anyone can experience this tour (though you have to be 16 with a valid driver’s license to drive).
Watch for Wildlife
You’ll be outfitted with a helmet, gloves, and goggles, have a short instructional session, then set off. Keep an eye out for moose, arctic fox, porcupine, and Dall sheep.
Choose From a Variety of Trips
You have the option of a couple different tours: the Denali Wilderness Adventure 2 1/2 hour tour (pick to drop off) through the Otto Lake area, where you’ll come upon several gorgeous overlooks and drive through wooded trails as well as a dry creek bed. During the height of the summer, early June thru early August, the Midnight Sun Adventure is offered. This tour departs at 9:00 pm and highlights the unique midnight sun and memorable sunset. More adventuresome types can take the private and personalized, 2.5 hour, or 3.5 hour Denali ATV Explorer, where you let the guide know your preferences - advanced trails, photography, searching for wildlife, or just to go at your own pace. Or choose the 3.5 hour Denali ATV Trailblazer in the Alaskan Boreal Forest! Observe glacial moraines and historic archeological dig sites while navigating tree rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra.
You must be at least 16 years of age with a valid Drivers License, and all riders must sign a Release of Liability Agreement form prior to the tour. Not recommended for people with back or neck problems and pregnant women.
