AT&T Customers

  • No action is necessary

Verizon Customers

  • Call *228, you will be transferred to a Verizon automated message. The message will prompt you to press 1 to activate your device, or press 2 to update the roaming settings on your device.
  • You will need to select Promt 2 to update roaming to include the local Alaska wireless network.
  • You will be placed on hold, and will hear on-hold music.
  • An autmoated message will then announce your service upate is complete.

Sprint Customers

  • *228 is not a valid feature for Sprint devices.
  • To update your PRL on Sprint devices, you will need to visit the Sprint website.
  • Log into your My Sprint account.
  • Click Troubleshooting.
  • Click Update PRL.

T-Mobile Customers

  • No action is necessary.

US Cellular Customers

  • Call to *228 will transfer you to an automated message.
  • The process may take up to 90 seconds.
  • You will be placed on hold, and will hear on-hold music.
  • An automated message will announce your service update is successful.
  • Your phone will re-boot.
