Northern Pike

The Northern Pike is a ferocious freshwater and brackish water dweller that are known for gobbling anything they can - and sometimes can't - fit into their mouths. They are dark olive colored with light spots and a white to yellowish underside. The Pike is a great game fish but has become problematic because of illegal introduction into salmon streams, which may cause huge declines in more desirable fish species.
